Little Blips

Just got back from 3 days away with my mum. I found it pretty easy to stick to Weight Watchers’ core plan while I was away and continued to eat really well. I found it less easy to stay away from comfort eating towards the end after 3 days with my mother, but considering how much damage I could have done (think Swiss chocolate, French cheese, Italian wine, and roasted chestnuts on every corner smelling divine), it wasn’t too bad. I indulged in a few non-core items at the airport on the way back, but otherwise they were fairly healthy choices.

I took advantage of the hotel gym and worked out each day. I did miss a day’s workout on Saturday, the day before we left, because I was up to my eyes in another writing test – I’m job hunting at the moment – but I shifted my schedule down a day so I didn’t miss a Turbulence Training workout, and by the end of the week I was only down about half an hour’s cardio. Still managed to clock over 5 hours last week. This is now a light week for me. My, I’ve come a long way!

Half a pound up at my WW meeting today, but I’m not too worried since I showed the same thing on my scales at home, accompanied by a nice drop in body fat. This week is going to be another core week. I’ll do two more, giving it a month, then might switch back to points for a week or two just for variety.

Hubby’s weight loss has stalled a bit although he’s still running. He had decided that when he lost the stone, taking him to 13 stone 3, he would treat himself to a pizza. He weighed in at 13 stone 3.6 over the weekend but had the pizza anyway. At least it was while I was away. I did tell him that if the pizza (and the scrummiest crunchiest wedges ever) took him back up to 13 stone 7, he didn’t get another pizza when he got back down to 13′ 3 again!

In other news, I have finally managed to cross a couple of items off my 101 in 1001 list. No need to rush over there to check it out though, they were just boring ones. Invested in some new make up while I was away, and accessorised lots. Will let you know when I get to try out mudwrestling or anything else worth reading about. But at least I’m down to 99 in 974. That’s around 1 task every 10 days. I’d better get a move on. While most of my task are still in the pending department, there is one that I’m failing at miserably! Getting to bed early. This is turning into yet another late night and I have a job interview in the morning. I’ll be off, then. ‘night all.
